Nick was introduced to
narrowboating
in 1958 (6yrs old). Health & Safety didn't feature
much in
those days - here I'm sitting on the lock gates with legs dangling (how
did we survive?). Parents bringing the 1950s hire boat into
the
lock at New Martin's on the Llangollen Canal.
